On 24 February 2025, Professor Niall Hayes, Deputy Dean of the Leeds University Business School visited the School of Business Administration (SBA) for the first time. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation and exchanges after signing the framework agreement.
Professor Li Han, Dean of SBA, and Professor Tang Mingfeng, Assistant Dean of SBA, attended the meeting. Professor Li Han introduced the school and the university, especially the latest development of SBA's discipline construction, academic research, international exchanges and cooperation, and AI education etc. Professor Niall Hayes expressed his appreciation for the achievements of our school and our university. He also shared the up-to-date introduction of Leeds University Business School in terms of programmes and disciplines, academic research, faculty and student exchange etc, and proposed further cooperation between the two schools in several aspects.
Both sides agreed that strengthening cooperation and exchanges between the two universities is necessary and win-win, beneficial to the improvement of teaching and research level and increasing international experiences of faculty and students from both universities. The two sides will keep communication and discuss specific projects in the fields of faculty and student exchanges and scientific research cooperation, and look forward to carrying out more fruitful cooperation practices in the future to jointly promote the development of business school education.
